ISAT (Institut Supérieur de l'Automobile et des Transports) is an engineering school based in Nevers (58000) which wishes to highlight not only the knowledge, but also the technique of its students. In the third year, our curriculum includes a full year of project implementation to confront us with group work and concrete technological problems. Ours is the ISAT Eco Marathon.

This project was launched in 2002 at our school and has a very simple objective: to manufacture innovative vehicles capable of covering as many kilometres as possible with a single litre of fuel or the energy equivalent. The students therefore embarked on the design of thermal and electrical prototypes combining ecology, energy efficiency and alternative energies. A challenge that allows each of us to put into practice the different knowledge acquired during our teaching.

Our philosophy

We all came to ISAT for the same reason: a passion for transport and innovation. That is why, despite the intense work we have to do, we do it with pleasure and great motivation.

Good humour and team cohesion are essential values for us, which allow us to move forward together. Indeed, we give an important place to communication because giving everyone the opportunity to speak leads to a confrontation of ideas and thus a constant improvement of our prototypes and our project.

Finally, our ambition and our desire to always surpass ourselves are linked to our search for ecological solutions anchored in current events. We will therefore make this quest for energy efficiency our priority.
